Sal & Tal: Coauthoring and Coediting
Nick & Angelo
by Carrotcakebandit
Salome and Talon confess with pride that they began to write together in anime fandom. Together they've traveled through hundreds of thousands of words, worlds, and kinks (with a special tip of the hat to Inuyasha), applying Rule 34 at every turn. Now they co-write original erotica and queer romance featuring a wide array of orientations, kinks, character types, and settings.
At present, they are at work on the gay romance Turning Trick: A Boywhore's Tale, and the second and third installments of their Nick/Angelo trilogy.

- My favourite I have to say is Kavi and Spark ["What You Feel Like"]. That is so sweet and sexy at the same time. Kavi you devil you topping from below and giving Spark what you feel when you pleasure him. Spark is so cute in his shyness and is apprehension and Kavi with that take charge attitude just made you see how much he loved Spark. -Hello-booklover (amazon.com review)

- [H]ere are the writers I'll be looking for in the future: “Interview”by Talon Rihai and Salome Wilde isn't written as a regular prose story. A slave and his mistress trade off sections where they talk about their relationship. You get the story of how they met and how their relationship evolved. What I enjoyed the most though was how healthy this relationship comes across. Anyone who thinks BDSM is abusive would have second thoughts after seeing the affection between these two. Toward the end of the story there's a revelation that shocks the slave, but from everything that came before, you know it isn't going to change the core of this solid and loving relationship. -Kathleen Bradean @ Erotica Revealed
- Standout stories include [...] "Interview" by Talon Rihai and Salome Wilde, a searingly honest alternation between the voices of a slave and his mistress. -Lisabet Sarai
- There is such a loving and peaceful feeling to Harry's devotion to Mei it makes you long to know more. -Coffee Time Romance

- Three of [the anthology's] stories feature f/f sex between women who have defined themselves as lesbian for some time, and therefore their relationship with mainstream culture is different from that of women who have never lived anywhere else. In “Recognition” by Salome Wilde and Talon Rihai, two women exchange glances in an airport and recognize each other as having something important in common despite their differences in race, culture, occupation, relationship status and home city (one lives in Atlanta, one New York). Their brief hookup in the cramped space of a lavatory is not meant to be repeated, but it seems likely to affect them both for a long time.[...] These stories encourage me to hope that lesbian culture will never adopt the degree of fat-phobia which causes too many heterosexual women to see their bodies as asexual and repulsive. -Jean Roberta @ Erotica Revealed
